The Basement LA is now open for business – are you scared?

Are you willing to venture into a dark basement located in Los Angeles to play a game? It sounds similar to a setup for a scary movie franchise, doesn’t it?

So here’s what we have found out about The Basement LA in their press release statement (it’s finally here on Intervirals!)

“Sthe basement la 2ylmar, CA, August 30th, 2014 — The Basement, is set in a dark dingy underground lair in an abandoned home in Donetsk, Ukraine. It gives participants the chance to experience the feeling of being trapped in an authentic horror-movie scenario.

Edward, a mentally ill serial killer with a taste for human flesh, has kidnapped you and eleven other tourists. He has placed a bag over your head and delicately led you into his temporary home in the unfinished bottom floor of an abandoned Russian residence. Reminiscent of the wildly successful Saw franchise’s anti-hero “Jigsaw” (but much-much more sick), Edward has created a series of difficult puzzles and clues you must solve in order to find freedom once again. Dim lighting, various startling events, and a strong general sense of macabre will make your task more challenging.”

According to their website FAQ, The Basement LA will contain secret trap doors and scary actors who may find you, wherever you are in the room. In case of an emergency, there is a large panic button too.

Entry into The Basement LA starts from October 1st, at the location – 12909 Foothill Blvd., Sylmar, California, USA. As we mentioned in an earlier blog post, tickets for The Basement LA are now available and range in price from $25 USD to $38 USD depending on the weekday – (tickets will probably cost extra on weekends and also the closer Halloween approaches).

Don’t forget, if you manage to escape from the basement there’s an option to buy a “I Survived the Basement” shirt, to show off to all your friends.

P.S. Try and find the secret discount, which is hidden on their website, if you can!
