“It’s your chance to live the adventure, solve the mystery, and become a hero.”
– Real Escape Game.

Intervirals Spotlight: The Unlocked Series
The titans made an appearance last year in Japan, the home market for Real Escape Game (REG), then another appearance mid-December in Singapore which Intervirals blogged about – and now they are on the move to appear in front of American audiences throughout 2015.

The creation of Escape From The Walled City resulted in a game which had a storyline that referenced reg escape_from_walled_city usathe Attack on Titan series, where almost all human life ended due to the appearance of titans (or the giant monsters). As a result the remaining humans decided to build walls around their cities to protect themselves but the walls crumble when multiple titans attack at the same time. Participants who attend Escape From The Walled City will join a SurveyCorp squad, who have the mission of saving all that is left of humanity. Plus you will be trying to avoid the invading titans, escape the city and it all has to be done within a one hour time limit.

To bring the story to life the game mechanics were provided by the Real Escape Game team, who have organized large stadiums across the USA to represent the towering walls which initially protect the city’s inhabitants from the titans.

First appearing in the USA from 2012, Real Escape Game has expanded significantly to several US cities over the last two years and have welcomed over 41,000 players. Furthermore there’s two types of Real Escapes – Real Escape Rooms, which are permanent room escape locations and Real Escape Games, pop-up room escape events which run for a short period of time in different locations.
