The Mummy Escape Room, kicks off in LA then heads to Tokyo

Can your team survive a battle with an undead mummy?
The Mummy Escape Game premiered in LA last Saturday to the media. For the general public, ticket sales are now open for games that start on June 9th.
Participants enter the story as security guards and encounter an ancient princess, Ahmanet. She’s risen to gain some sweet centuries old justice and potentially kick your butt along the way.
The story takes players through multiple rooms to outwit the warrior princess in 60 minutes. Up to ten players can play during one session.
Be prepared for moments in the game involving blackouts and loud noises. And the FAQ says, you’re allowed to bring a camera to help your team “capture clues” and to not upload any spoilers to the internet … uh oh.
And a solution walkthrough is provided at the end of the game.
This is SCRAP’s first movie partnership with Universal according to their press release. Hopefully there will be some other Universal movies that will also get turned into escape rooms.
After its LA run, the escape game moves to Tokyo and opens there on July 27th.

Escape from the Cursed Forest and Escape from the Island Conspiracy: Real Escape Game

Your choice: save the princess from the cursed forest castle or find the conspiracy lurking on the island.

In June – the Real Escape Game team are kickstarting a new game in America that will visit four cities – San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Toronto through the year.

Robert Frost’s poem advises travelers to take the path less taken but what happens at the end of this path? You might get lost in a wild forest that has fallen asleep under a curse. Escape from the Cursed Forest tells the story of a sleeping princess hidden away in a castle and in order to wake her up and get out of the forest – you must attempt to solve the puzzles that no one has solved before. Don’t lose or you’ll be lost in the forest forever with your team of six people.

The first part of the tour starts in San Francisco from June 11th to 20th, with New York’s event following on in July, Toronto in August and back to Los Angeles in September. Tickets cost $27 USD online and $33 USD at the door, with the event running for 1.5 hrs and taking place in San Francisco at 1290 Sutter St, The Regency Center – The Lodge, San Francisco, CA, USA.

Do not lose your mission kit, agent.

Otherwise you won’t be able to finish the mission or get to the end of the conspiracy taking place in Singapore. Escape from the Conspiracy is a huge game being organized by the Real Escape Game team that will be played out across the entire island of Singapore.

== Mission Alert ==
1) Find the HQ location of the conspiracy group
2) Get into the conspiracy group’s building
3) Find the password to put an end to the conspiracy group and their plans

Should you choose to accept the mission alert from secret agent headquarters – you’ll become an undercover secret agent that needs to discover and get to the bottom of a conspiracy threat to the 50th anniversary of Singapore’s independence from Malaysia. Will you discover the conspiracy and stop the threat in time?

The “mission” takes place every Saturday and Sunday of June (starting from June 6th and runs until June 28th), with the starting point of the adventure being the Singapore Art Museum. Tickets cost $27 SGD, with the event running for 3 to 4 hours and the best part?

If you can’t finish your mission on the day, bring back the mission kit to the secret agent headquarters (aka. Singapore Art Museum) and you can try the mission another day for as long as the event runs for. Who knows – you might even bump into another secret agent during the mission to help you out.
